Grand Valley Behavior (GVBSC) is looking for individuals who have a passion for working with kids and families, a love of learning, a strong work ethic, strong communication skills, and who are seeking a job with potential for growth. GVBSC is hiring multiple BCBA positions, part-time/hourly and salaried/full-time positions. GVBSC is not part of a large corporation, which offers the right candidate the opportunity to customize the therapeutic experience for our clients in a supportive atmosphere.

GVB BCBA’s provide services in home, community, and clinical settings and are expected to support learning practices that are conceptually systematic with ABA. GVB BCBA’s are committed to teaching and collaborating with a team of dedicated behavior technicians, physicians, educators, and other service professionals. By embedding ABA principles of behavior-change and behavior change tactics within our clients’ daily routines and by utilizing ABA principles to grow caregiver repertoires, our BCBA’s work to optimize learning in communication, social/emotional, cognitive, adaptive, and motor development.

As a BCBA at GVBSC, your responsibilities will include onboarding new clients, conducting intake assessments, developing treatment plans, training and supervising behavior technicians and caregivers on the implementation of treatment plans and data collection procedures, collaborating with team members and other professionals, monitoring data, and supervising in a variety of settings.

Experience with and a preference for naturalistic environment teaching is a plus, in addition to experience with PFA/SBT.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university and Board Certification through the BACB.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, age range of 1 through 21, and providing direct care using applied behavior analysis.
  • Experience conducting assessments and developing, implementing, and supervising the implementation of behavior intervention plans.
  • Experience implementing BST with BTs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience and motivation in collaborating with other professionals, service providers, and caregivers.
  • Knowledge of naturalistic environment training
  • Clean background check, abuse registry check, and must possess the ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (or low points)
