Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the department managers and supervisors, the Cashier performs a variety of routine tasks in the kitchen, tray line, and related areas according to standard practices and procedures in order to maintain a safe, efficient, and sanitary work environment. The Cashier is responsible for filling all food/beverage requisitions received from patient service areas in an accurate and timely manner in order to assist in maintaining quality patient care. Assists the department in the assembling aspects of preparation for the patient meal service through assembling of trays for patient meals.
Essential Functions:
- The Cashier operates a cash register, receives payments of cash, checks and charges from customers or employees for goods or services, making change and issuing receipts or tickets to customers.
- The Cashier performs a variety of routine tasks in the kitchen, tray line, and related areas according to standard practices and procedures in order to maintain a safe, efficient, and sanitary work environment.
- The Cashier is responsible for filling all food/beverage requisitions received from patient service areas in an accurate and timely manner in order to assist in maintaining quality patient care.
Schedule: Evening, 10:30 am -7:00 pm including every other weekend and every other holiday
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/GED required
