Responsibilities
The Food Runner assists the department in the assembling aspects of preparation for the patient meal service through assembling of trays for patient meals and transporting along with pick up to from room along with other duties explained in the job flow.
Essential Functions:
- The Food Service Runner solves customer problems, treats customer with dignity and respect and acknowledges customer and responds quickly to customer needs.
- Conduct demonstrates compliance with and reporting of suspected violations of all relevant laws, regulations, compliance policies and procedures and the Code of Conduct.
- Demonstrates the ability to assess and interpret age appropriate data about the patient’s status in order to identify age-specific needs and provide the care needed.
- The Food Service Runner demonstrates the ability to identify and communicate age appropriate data about the patients status in order to determine age-specific needs and provide the care needed.
Schedule: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm including every other weekend and every other holiday
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/GED preferred
