Responsibilities
The Lead Physical Therapist is responsible for overseeing the Physical Therapy staff in their Outpatient setting and the examination and evaluation of patients and administering Patient Therapy interventions in collaboration with the referring physician. Demonstrates competency in skills necessary to care for and manage primarily adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in acute care, outpatient, or acute inpatient rehabilitation unit setting.
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, and Tuesday, Thursday 11:30 am - 8:00 pm
Qualifications
Education and Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (or related field if a more advanced degree in PT is held) required Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy. This requirement is waived for individuals who were licensed prior to the requirement of the Doctorate Degree for licensure. preferred experience as Physical Therapist required Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (or related field if a more advanced degree in PT is held) preferred
Licenses and Certifications:Physical Therapist – Licensed, Upon hire, requiredBasic Life Support (BLS), Within 2 weeks of hire, required
