The Radiologic Technologist performs imaging for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment planning with regards to patient care. The Radiologic Technologist demonstrates competency in skills necessary to care for patients served. The ideal candidate has competencies to perform multiple types of imaging including Fluoro, X-Ray, involving Emergency Room Patients, surgical patients, inpatients, and outpatients.
Essential Functions:
- Reviews the daily patient schedule in order to maximize efficiency and minimize patient waiting time
- Ensure proper identification and documentation of radiographic images
- Transfers patient safely to exam table and provides for patient safety by providing appropriate monitoring/ visualization during exam
- Positions patient under x-ray machine, adjusts immobilization devices, and affixes lead shields to protect unaffected areas.
- Follow established protocols for cleaning, preparing, and operating radiological equipment
- Provide hand-off report to other teammates that are accurate, concise, and pertinent to the patient's condition and response to care.
Schedule: Week 1 (2 days 5:00pm-10:00pm), Week 2 (3 days 5:00pm-10:00pm), one Saturday rotation every other month (8:00am-12:00pm), every other Holiday, and call rotation.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:Vocational Diploma or Associate's Degree from an AMA approved radiologic technology program, required.
Licenses and Certifications:
Radiological Technologist, Certified upon hire, required
Basic Life Support (BLS), upon hire, required

Responsibilities:
Week 1: 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm - 2 days per week, Week 2: 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm - 3 days per week. One Saturday rotation 8:00am-12:00pm every other month, holiday and call rotation as needed.
