The Ultrasound Sonographer performs imaging utilizing the appropriate equipment for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment planning for patient care. The Ultrasound Sonographer demonstrates competency in all skills necessary to care for all types of patients. The Ultrasound Sonographer performs all types of Ultrasound procedures involving Emergency Room Patients, surgical patients, inpatients and outpatients.
Must be able to perform all aspects of Ultrasound. Opportunities to cross-train in Breast and Vascular.
Schedule: 2-3 shifts a week between Monday - Friday, from 11:00 pm - 7:30 am, no weekends, holiday rotation.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:Vocational diploma from an ultrasound program, required Associate's Degree from an ultrasound program And Over 1 year to 3 years’ experience with body imaging/vascular imaging/breast imaging, preferred Licenses and Certifications:Medical Sonographer – Certified ARDMS, Upon hire, required within 90 days Basic Life Support (BLS), Upon hire, required
RVT certified within 1 year
