Memory Care Activities Assistant
Flexible part time schedules including weekends
Job Summary :
We are seeking a Memory Care Activities Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the organizing, supervising, and implementing therapeutic activities designed to meet the specific and individual needs of the Memory Care residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in Alzheimer's Care and be able to read, write, speak clearly, and follow written and oral instructions.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in planning and implementing therapeutic activities for Memory Care residents
- Encourage resident participation in activities and events
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of activities and events
- Maintain a clean and organized activity area
- Provide support to residents during activities and events
- Communicate with Memory Care staff regarding resident participation and behavior
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions
