Job Title: Housekeeper
Location: Sarasota, Florida
We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Housekeepers to join our team at an Assisted Living community in beautiful Sarasota, Florida. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, and other designated areas
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust floors and surfaces
- Change linens and make beds
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables
- Restock supplies as needed
- Follow established safety and infection control procedures
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Will include some weekend work (Saturday and/or Sunday availability)
