Liquor Store Associate

Liquor Store Associate needed 2-3 shifts per week, including Saturdays. Shifts are scheduled 9:30am-2:30pm

Ideal candidates will have experience in the retail liquor store industry, or a background in bartending.

This is a non-smoking work environment, and a background check will be required in addition to being able to obtain an Oklahoma Liquor License.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately while maintaining cash register integrity.
• Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging and effective communication.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandise is faced and well-displayed.
• Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing accurate change.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is advantageous.
• A proactive attitude towards selling products and achieving sales targets.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
