Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness of windows, walls, and fixtures to ensure a tidy appearance.
- Conduct floor care activities including buffing, waxing, and stripping as needed.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts efficiently.
- Assist with Sanitation duties.
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
