Sanitation Specialist

The Sanitation / Environmental Service Specialist is of great importance to the Grandma Hoerner\'s organization as they are the primary driving force in cleaning the precious day\'s soils from all processing machinery, in preparation for the next days\' production. While working primarily in the kettle and packaging areas, other cleaning duties in the warehouse areas will be accomplished on a scheduled basis.

• THIS IS A SECOND SHIFT FULL-TIME POSITION
• Grandma Hoerner\'s is located at 31862 Thompson rd., Alma, KS at exit 324Responsibilities : The three primary functions of Sanitation is to a) tear down processing equipment to its basic components to facilitate thorough cleaning, b) cleaning of all food residues and soils from all food contact surfaces including a final sanitizing step, and c) the rebuilding of all processing machines and components.Additionally, Sanitation Specialists are responsible for fulfillment of assigned plant and facility Master Sanitation janitorial schedule routines, and additional functions as assigned.Essential functions of the role : Mechanical disassembly and reassembly of pumps, piping systems, and filling machinesWorking with Foaming cleaners and chemicalsOther duties and assignments as needed or requiredAbility to work on your feet for long hoursAbility to accomplish tasks while working by yourselfAbility to work in temperatures above 100 degreesAbility to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.\$500 Sign-On Bonus \ \$250 after 90 days of employment, \$250 after 180 days of employment = \$500 \
