Position Overview:
As a Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Lead, you will be responsible for leading the shipping and receiving team. You will also be safely driving a forklift, picking and shipping inventory from the warehouse or assisting in shipping smaller UPS or USPS orders. In your position, you will be responsible for accurately filling orders, checking paperwork, booking freight and loading trucks. You will also participate in inventory receiving and physical inventories. In addition to the warehousing activities, you will work with the team to help keep the warehouse clean and organized.
Shift:
Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and palletize orders to ship to customers
- Ensure products are shipped on time and complete
- Coordinate team to complete daily goals
- Inspect and document all in and outbound trucks and deliveries verifying information against bills of lading, invoices or sales orders
- Organize inbound and outbound inventory, and coordinate with Production Lead
- Perform physical inventory
- Works within the required time standards.
- Processes export shipments in accordance with SOPs
- Ability to operate forklift, hand trucks and other material handling equipment in a safe manner
- Provide input to improve current department procedures
- Assist within shipping and receiving where needed
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete reports and follow SOPs
- Provide support to other areas of production as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Ability to take initiative and problem solve

- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Maintain clean work area and warehouse at all times
- Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours a day

- Fork-lift experience mandatory
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years Shipping & Receiving, Distribution or Material Service experience
- Self-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside help
