We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for creating delicious pizzas in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring that each dish meets our restaurant's standards for taste and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Manage the preparation of ingredients, including dough, sauces, and toppings, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal food quality.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking ingredient levels and placing orders as needed.
• Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new pizza offerings.

Experience

• Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
• Familiarity with dietary aide functions within a dietary department is a plus.
• Strong skills in meal preparation, including the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment.
