WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Convert customer logos into artwork suitable for screen printing.
- Redraw logos into artwork suitable for screen printing.
- Proofread artwork to ensure artwork matches the customer’s approved design.
- Collaborate with production staff to evaluate print specifications.
- Communicate with the Production Art Manager to establish daily priorities.
- Communicate with the sales staff to maximize efficiency when bringing customer orders to production.
THE ROLE INVOLVES
The Production Artist at Grandstand is responsible for accurately and efficiently producing print ready artwork to the production staff for decoration of customer orders.
YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Four (4) year degree in Graphic Design or one (1) to two (2) years of experience as a graphic designer preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop required. Knowledge of entire suite is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Macintosh OS systems required.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
- Screen printing experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic reading comprehension.
- Ability to achieve a production quota.
