Job Summary
· Performs Front Desk Clerk/Guest Service Agent duties.
· Reviews check outs, insuring payments match final balances.
· Locate and reconcile errors
· Verifies the total daily amount of credit card purchases and cash deposits.
· Verifies that credit cards, direct billing, and cash deposits are correct and accurate, and that they are in balance. Insures that all charges have been correctly posted to guest accounts.
· Notifies Front Desk Clerks in a professional manner of discrepancies or errors to ensure that errors and discrepancies are minimized. Night Auditor will assist in training of Front Desk Clerks and fellow Night Auditors.
· Runs all required reports from the front desk hotel management system. Completes all management and company reports accurately as directed by management.
· Completes daily revenue reports, and room status and housekeeping reports and emails them to Becky Bell, Regional Manager.
· Completes a full and accurate bucket check
· Ensures that guest problems or issues are resolved in a professional and courteous manner.
· Provided security for guests and property by controlling room keys, verifying cash banks, making safe drops, preparing cash reports, following credit card verification procedures, and reporting and complying with specified security/safety regulations.
· The Night Auditor sets up the continental breakfast for the guests. The breakfast must be set in a pleasant and appealing display, and must be set using all sanitary methods.
· The Night Auditor also maintains the public space of the hotel. This includes the lobby area as well as the public restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevator and entrance to the hotel. Night Auditor is also required to maintain a safe entrance to the hotel which includes shoveling and deicing the sidewalks and side doors of the hotel.
· Night Auditor is also required to maintain the pool area. This includes, garbage, sweeping, mopping, pool bathroom and sanitizing all surfaces such as table, chairs, door handles, light switches, etc.
· Reports any safety issues such as exterior building or parking lights being burned out.
· Performs other tasks as assigned by the Assistant General Manager or the General Manager.
· Performs other tasks such as washing, drying and folding laundry, as assigned by property management. Works in laundry when necessary to ensure that linen and laundry is completed to ensure that housekeeping can proceed on schedule.
· Ability to lift, pull or push a minimum of 35 pounds.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
