NOTE: This position is for the 2025-2026 school year. The salary will be based on the 2025-2026 salary schedule which is not yet approved by the Board of Education. The salary listed is based on the current year's salary schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess or be eligible for Missouri Administrative certification
- At least five years successful teaching experience
- Administrative experience or experience at the District Coordinator’s level
REPORTS TO:
Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction
SUPERVISES:
All CAIR personnel
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the educational leader of all CAIR programming (Transitions, Missouri GED Options, Crossroads, Gifted).
- Serve as district representative on community committees
- Serve as district representative on advisory committees.
- Evolving, articulating, and implementing the school’s vision and mission.
- Nurturing of a culture in which the exchange of ideas is encouraged, respected, and valued.
- Manage the school’s operational and capital matters.

- Make recommendations concerning the school’s administration and instruction.
- Prepare and manage the school budget.
- Supervise the maintenance of all required building records and reports.
- Prepare or supervise the preparation of reports, records, lists, and all other paperwork required or appropriate to the school’s administration.
- Work with various members of the central administrative staff on problems involving support services, such as transportation and special services.
- Keep supervisor informed of events and activities of an unusual nature as well as routine matters related to the supervisor’s accountability.
- Assume responsibility for the implementation and observance of all Board policies and regulations by the school’s staff and students.
- Maintain active relationships with students and parents.
- Lead in the development, determination of appropriateness, and monitoring of the instructional program.
- Schedule classes within established guidelines to meet student needs.
- Establish guides for proper student conduct and maintaining student discipline.
- Supervise the maintenance of accurate records on the progress and attendance of students.
- Assume responsibility for the attendance, conduct, safety and health of students.
- Supervise all professional, paraprofessional, administrative, and support personnel attached to the school.
- Assist in the recruiting, screening, hiring, training, assigning, and evaluating of the school’s staff.
- Evaluate and counsel all staff members regarding their individual and group performance.
- Conduct meetings of the staff as necessary for the proper functioning of the school.
- Provide for adequate inventories of school property and for the security and accountability for the property.
- Supervise all activities and programs that are outgrowths of the school’s curriculum.
- Supervise and evaluate the school’s extracurricular program.
- Participate in principals’ meetings, negotiations meetings, and such other meetings as are required or appropriate.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Salary : $107,200 - $128,542
