NOTE:  This position is for the 2025-2026 school year. The salary will be based on the 2025-2026 salary schedule which is not yet approved by the Board of Education. The salary listed is based on the current year's salary schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Possess or be eligible for Missouri Administrative certification
  2. At least five years successful teaching experience
  3. Administrative experience or experience at the District Coordinator’s level

REPORTS TO:
     Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction

SUPERVISES:
     All CAIR personnel

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Serve as the educational leader of all CAIR programming (Transitions, Missouri GED Options, Crossroads, Gifted).
  2. Serve as district representative on community committees
  3. Serve as district representative on advisory committees.
  4. Evolving, articulating, and implementing the school’s vision and mission.
  5. Nurturing of a culture in which the exchange of ideas is encouraged, respected, and valued.
  6. Manage the school’s operational and capital matters.
  7. Continue to enhance the human capital matters.
  8. Continue to enhance the human capital of the faculty and staff.
  9. Dedicated to the creation of an atmosphere of nurturing, supporting, and challenging students
  10. Demonstrated innovative, visionary, and effective leadership abilities (e.g. managerial, administrative, and budgetary) 
  11. Deep understanding of multiple pedagogies appropriate for learners.
  12. Establish and maintain an effective learning climate in the school.
  13. Initiate, design, and implement programs to meet specific needs of the school.
  14. Make recommendations concerning the school’s administration and instruction.
  15. Prepare and manage the school budget.
  16. Supervise the maintenance of all required building records and reports.
  17. Prepare or supervise the preparation of reports, records, lists, and all other paperwork required or appropriate to the school’s administration.
  18. Work with various members of the central administrative staff on problems involving support services, such as transportation and special services.
  19. Keep supervisor informed of events and activities of an unusual nature as well as routine matters related to the supervisor’s accountability.
  20. Assume responsibility for the implementation and observance of all Board policies and regulations by the school’s staff and students.
  21. Maintain active relationships with students and parents.
  22. Lead in the development, determination of appropriateness, and monitoring of the instructional program.
  23. Schedule classes within established guidelines to meet student needs.
  24. Establish guides for proper student conduct and maintaining student discipline.
  25. Supervise the maintenance of accurate records on the progress and attendance of students.
  26. Assume responsibility for the attendance, conduct, safety and health of students.
  27. Supervise all professional, paraprofessional, administrative, and support personnel attached to the school.
  28. Assist in the recruiting, screening, hiring, training, assigning, and evaluating of the school’s staff.
  29. Evaluate and counsel all staff members regarding their individual and group performance.
  30. Conduct meetings of the staff as necessary for the proper functioning of the school.
  31. Provide for adequate inventories of school property and for the security and accountability for the property.
  32. Supervise all activities and programs that are outgrowths of the school’s curriculum.
  33. Supervise and evaluate the school’s extracurricular program.
  34. Participate in principals’ meetings, negotiations meetings, and such other meetings as are required or appropriate.
  35. Other related duties as assigned.

Salary : $107,200 - $128,542
