Grandview Health Care is actively seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing for an amazing 60 bed skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the Long Term Care setting, and experience in training and leading clinical staff. Compensation and benefits package provided.Duties:
- Ensure the delivery of quality of care that meets and exceeds industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure effective communication between all disciplines of the delivery of care.
- Ensure medical needs of residents and patients are met.
- Ensure quality customer service.
- Coordinate and direct the daily operation and strategic planning of the Nursing Department.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
- Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of medical records.
- Responsible for recruiting, hiring and orientating new nursing staff.
Requirements:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia (or Compact)
- 1-3 years of leadership experience in Long-Term Care preferred. (Not required)
