Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Appropriate State of Ohio teaching certificate / license
- Preferred Career Tech License or working towards
Position Summary
The Industrial Tech courses provide students with an opportunity to learn about Project Design and Engineering Technologies. Designated as elective courses for students in grades 9-12, these classes foster creativity, problem-solving, craftsmanship, and technical proficiency. Through collaborative exercises, students will experience the real-world applications of industrial technology.
Course Description :
Project Design I , this course introduces students to fundamental woodworking and fabrication techniques through hands-on, project-based learning.
Project Design II & III , this course will build upon the foundational skills developed in Project Design I, allowing students to refine their craftsmanship and explore more complex design and construction challenges.
Engineering Technologies , this introductory course is open to all high school students with no prior experience in Industrial Technology. Engineering Technologies offers a hands-on exploration of woodworking, machining, project design, and manufacturing processes.
