What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long-Term Substitute - Intervention Specialist position at Grandview Heights City School District?
Grandview Heights Schools is seeking a long term substitute for an Intervention Specialist (Grade 7th). This position is expected to begin in early April 2025 and will go through the end of the school year- May 2025. Note: There will be an opportunity to apply for a 1-year contract for the following 2025 - 2026 school year through the district in a simaliar position.
Seeking: An intervention specialist who is certified or working towards certification in special education and Orton Gillingham training is preferred but not required. Licensure requirements are mild to moderate or moderate to intensive, having both requirements is preferred. Position involves supporting students in general ed inclusive settings and small group pull-out support.
Applicants affiliated with or willing to work through the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio are preferred.
ODE licensure for Intervention Specialist is preferred. Acceptable Ohio and FBI background checks required.
