24-25 Class Sponsor-Juniors (GHS)

TITLE: GHS Junior Class Sponsor

QUALIFICATIONS:

Missouri Teacher Certification or Substitute Teacher Certification

REPORTS TO:

Building Principal/Assistant Principal

SUPERVISES:

All junior class

JOB GOAL:

To encourage and teach organizational and leadership skills; to provide a positive role model for
special activities encouraging school spirit during the homecoming season

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Plan and host the junior/senior prom.
2. Hold an election of officers.
3. Plan and implement homecoming activities, including float and decorations.
4. Hold class meetings when needed.
5. Be liaison for class to administration and student council as needed.

School year

Building Principal

APPROXIMATE HOURS SCHEDULED FOR ACTIVITY:

Homecoming = 10 hours
Prom = 50 hours
Election = 5 hours
Other meetings and issues = 5 hours

TOTAL HOURS: 70 hours

Salary : $1,235 - $1,646
