Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Bus Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating buses to transport passengers along designated routes.
Duties
- Safely operate a bus following a set schedule and route
- Ensure the bus is in good working condition by conducting pre-trip inspections
- Assist passengers with boarding, seating, and exiting the bus
- Adhere to traffic regulations and drive defensively at all times
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior
- Communicate effectively with passengers and provide assistance as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial driving or school bus driving is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and address minor issues
- Ability to write reports and keep accurate records
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus for effective communication with diverse passengers
- Experience in childcare or paratransit services is advantageous
- Willingness to educate passengers on safety procedures and regulations
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
Schedule:
- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
- CDL (Required)
