Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Echocardiography Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled professional capable of performing echocardiography examinations with precision and expertise. As an ECHO Tech, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality cardiac imaging services and contributing to the overall excellence of our healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiography examinations, including trans-thoracic and trans-esophageal echocardiograms, stress, and contrast echocardiograms.
- Ensure adherence to established protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Provide preliminary interpretation of studies conducted.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Echocardiography Technician.
- Certification as a Cardiac Sonographer by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
- ACLS certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in placing intravenous lines and administering IV medications is desirable.
- Experience in EKG interpretation and cardiac stress testing is preferred.
