Job Title: Registered Cardiac Sonographer
Location: Grandview Medical Center, Birmingham, AL
Schedule: 7 Days On / 7 Days Off
Job Summary:
The Registered Cardiac Sonographer will independently and under supervision, perform routine and complex echocardiography examinations in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position includes performing and providing preliminary interpretation of studies such as trans-thoracic echocardiograms, trans-esophageal echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and contrast echocardiograms using commercially prepared contrast agents. The role requires ACLS certification and desirable experience in placing intravenous lines and administering IV medications. Additional experience in EKG interpretation and cardiac stress testing is preferred.

Qualifications:
- Registered as a Cardiac Sonographer by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- New graduates must achieve registry within one year of employment.
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge and skills in performing trans-thoracic contrast echocardiograms preferred
