What are the responsibilities and job description for the EVS - Floor Tech/Trash Tech 2nd Shift position at Grandview Medical Center?
Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities. May be expected to make basic repairs. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.According to established procedures, cleans and services hospital areas. Moves furniture, equipment, and supplies in and around hospital departments; and performs a variety of hospital duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly and sanitary condition. This position is also responsible for ensuring clean, orderly and attractive floor conditions in the hospital.
High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be able to work well with others. Verbal and written communications skills are required. Is expected to project a professional attitude in appearance and conduct. Is expected to attend work as scheduled. Must comply with the Hospital's Code of Conduct. Must be able to stand and walk for long hours and have the mobility and strength to move quickly, stoop, and/or bend repeatedly. Must have dexterity of hands, eyes, and mind to perform assigned tasks. Must have the ability to remain calm under stress.
