We’d love for you to become our next OncologyRegistered Nurse (RN), FT, Weekend Nights (Fri, Sat, Sun) (7pm-7am)at our 434-bed regional referral center and tertiary-care facility. • Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
• Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Performs various patient tests, a variety of tasks, and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
• Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
• Associate's degree required with an active, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse.
• Familiarity with oncological and surgical concepts, practices, and procedures is preferred
