What are the responsibilities and job description for the OR Room Tech (Outpatient) position at Grandview Medical Center?
Assists CRNAs and MDAs in providing safe and adequate care to patients. Maintains anesthesia equipment; cleans, stocks and checks anesthesia trays, carts and supply areas. Prepares and assists MDAs in following procedures: insertion of arterial line, Swan-Ganz catheters and blood sugar tests. Restocks routine and emergency medications in anesthesia carts. This position also involves cleaning/stocking rooms and transporting patients. Tasks performed are in accordance with department and hospital policies and procedures and are in compliance with Alabama Nurse Practice Act. Schedule: Full time, 6:30A - 3P
