What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant/Receptionist position at Grandville Foot and Ankle, P.C.?
We are looking for someone that loves working with people, has a bubbly personality, responsible, shows up every day to work on time, flexible, and is great with communication and patients! We want someone that can make patients feel comfortable and is a constant learner.
We are hiring a medical assistant/receptions with at least 2 years experience in a medical setting. This is a 32 hours per week position. Monday-Thursday is required. Typical work week is Monday thru-Thursday 8-5 pm with a lunch break in between
We require your positive attitude when you come to work, punctuality, and upbeat energy. We also are looking for someone who always comes in happy and motivated to accomplish things for the day.

Below is a list of tasks that a medical assistant does throughout the work day:
-charting past medical history and chief complaint in electronic medical records
-being empathetic and listening carefully to patient concerns
-cleaning and restocking rooms
- filing nails with a nail Dremel
-laser therapy (you will become laser certified)
-applying casting and taping to feet/ankles
-sizing and dispensing medical equipment such as boots, shoes, inserts
-obtaining X-rays of the feet and ankles
-dispensing and charting medical assistant visits
-on-the-job training and re-educating on things
-supply ordering, restocking rooms, and inventory
-demonstrating and handing out patient exercises
-scanning, filing, printing items as needed
-documenting and writing work notes and other paperwork for patients
-making appointments for patients
-assisting other team members
-Faxing and filing medical documentation
-There will be cross training some front desk reception tasks as well once fully trained as an medical assistant for our office (we are a team and help each other)-these tasks include answering phones and check-in/out patients
