What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Spotter/ Yard Jockey position at Grane Transportation?

The Yard Spotter will be responsible for the placement and removal of trailers ranging from 23’ to 53’. As well as the movement of trailers between yards and between buildings.
THIS IS FOR A 2pm to 11pm And 2pm- 12am M-F. Some weekend work available as well.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of VERIFIABLE spotting experience
Ability to pass a road test/ Skills test
Strong communication, organizational skills, self starter and results driven
Following all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or customer rules, standards and guidelines.
Performing all duties safely and responsibly.
Good verbal & written communication skills
Pass a pre-employment Physical and Drug/Alcohol screen

This position will give the spotter a lot of latitude to work independently at times. If you are looking for a position that will be micro managed this is NOT the position for you!
