Job Summary
Granite Automotive is seeking two Automotive Lube Technician's to join our team. We are hiring for two lube techs, one for our GMC location and the other for our Nissan location. This individual will be responsible for inspecting, lubricating, and servicing a variety of vehicles, from light automobiles to pursuit-style heavy-duty trucks. The Automotive Lube Technician will be responsible for following set protocols and procedures to ensure that vehicles are running properly. This is a Full Time - Hourly Technician / Skilled Labor / Contractor job located in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Responsibilities
• Inspect, lubricate, and service internal combustion engines and other vehicle components
• Change oil and replace filters, such as air and fuel
• Check water levels and fluid levels for operational readiness
• Inspect and replace belts, hoses, wipers, and other parts as necessary
• Test and inspect vehicle systems such as brakes, steering, cooling, etc.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous working experience with automobiles
• Computer proficiency
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
