Detailer

Job Summary

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Detailer to join our automotive services team! The Detailer will perform high-quality detailing services for customers’ cars, SUVs, and trucks. You will scrub, shampoo, and wax the interiors and exteriors of vehicles, as well as vacuum and clean upholstery. The ideal candidate will have a knack for details and be able to produce a high-quality finish in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Clean and condition vehicles’ interiors and exteriors, including windows, wheels, doorjambs, and any other components as needed.

• Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards and client requests.
• Operating buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations.
• Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles.
• Performing inspections and keeping complete, accurate records of the vehicle’s condition.
• Moving and parking vehicles, delivering vehicles to correct locations or picking owners or drivers up if needed.
• Managing inventory and reordering supplies.
• Responding to client inquiries and fulfilling their requests.
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes, OSHA right-to-know, etc.
• Must wear proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and follow company safety policies and practices.
•  Immediately report all accidents/vehicle damage to the Vehicle Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned by upper management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid state driver’s license with good driving record.
• Attention to detail with excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to comply with all company policies and uphold standards for service quality.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays, if needed.
