Job Title: Commercial Lender

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospect, develop, and manage new commercial business lending opportunities through networking, relationship-building, and leveraging community ties.
• Review financial statements, tax returns, business plans, and other relevant documents to assess the creditworthiness of potential clients and make informed decisions on loan structuring.
• Design and propose flexible, business-specific loan solutions that meet client needs while ensuring compliance with Granite Bank's lending policies and industry regulations.
• Work closely with Granite Bank's departments to ensure efficient loan processing and maintain a smooth experience for customers.
• Research market trends and local economic conditions to identify risks and new business opportunities for Granite Bank.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments of potential and existing loans to identify and mitigate risks.
• Monitor loan performance regularly and implement risk management strategies to ensure loan quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• ~3-5 years of experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, business banking, or a related financial role.
• Proficient in analyzing financial statements, cash flow projections, balance sheets, and other key financial data.
• In-depth understanding of credit risk management principles, including assessing and mitigating risks.
