Summary : The Commercial Lighting Project Coordinator reports to the Commercial Light Quotations Manager and will provide our customers detailed, timely, and accurate coordination of light fixture packages. Additionally, the Lighting Project Coordinator will nurture customer and vendor relationships, maintain and maximize profitability and follow Granite City's core values and commitment to excellence.
Essential Functions :
- Review purchase order terms and conditions when customer places order.
- Prepare submittals and send to customer.
- Enter purchase orders and sales orders in Eclipse.
- Prepare and maintain three-ring, tabbed project binder.
- Review returned submittals.
- Release approved material to factory for production / shipment.
- Send updated shipment status reports to customer weekly.
- Expedite factory shipments to meet with project time requirements.
- Release lamps for shipment to coordinate with the time of the fixture arrival.
- Prepare change-order material and pricing.
- Resolve billing discrepancies / disputes with customer and / or vendor.
- Provide replacement for incorrect, defective or damaged material.
- Arrange material returns to factory and issue credits.
- Prepare balance sheet to ensure project has been billed accurately

Work Environment This job operates in a clerical / distribution office setting.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a salary, full-time position based out of our Taunton, MA location. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Remote Flexibility is available for this role. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This is largely a stationary role but involves climbing stairs in many of our branch locations; however, some material management and filing is required.
This would require the ability to lift light boxes and materials, open filing cabinets, and setting-up photographic equipment as necessary. The employee may be required to sit for long periods of time but will also be expected to do on-site / field work such as photo shoots, tradeshows and meetings.
Travel
Some regional travel will be required @ 5-10%.
