The Granite City Electric Supply Company is seeking a professional NON CDL Delivery Night Driver to join our growing transportation team in Taunton, MA.
The ideal candidate is a punctual, detail-oriented team player who can deliver our products on time and professionally, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading trucks and delivering packages by driving, climbing in and out of the vehicle, and working in all weather conditions.
- Delivering loaded pallets to job sites, customer shops, Granite City branches and depots safely and punctually.
- Safely operating Department of Transportation regulated vehicles weighing over 10,000 lbs.
- FOLLOWING STRICT SAFETY STANDARDS ON AND OFF THE ROAD.
- Solving problems independently using critical thinking skills.
- Interacting professionally and positively with customers and other Granite City departments.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least three (3) years of Commercial Driver License (CDL) experience.
- At least three (3) years of Hoisting License / Hydraulic License experience.
- Knowledge of and experience with forklift operations and warehouse equipment preferred.
- Equivalent education or experience may be substituted for any of the above.

- MUST BE ABLE TO BEND, TWIST AND SLOUCH FREQUENTLY.
- MUST BE ABLE TO CLIMB IN AND OUT OF TRUCK ROUTINELY.
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS.
