Job Description
The Supply Chain Specialist will play a critical role in growing the success of our Underground business by focusing on providing industry-leading support and quality of product. This position will be responsible for managing daily purchasing requirements, working closely with vendors, and collaborating with suppliers and sales teams to develop and implement competitive and profitable selling strategies.
This includes demand analysis, order placement, and order point management. The successful candidate will also work closely with marketing to identify item promotion potential and promotion structure. Additionally, they will maintain a solid working knowledge of essential commodity trends, including industry trends, cost drivers, global pricing, material lead times, and technical/manufacturing processes.
