Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm excluding holidays.
Work Area/Location: Nashua, New Hampshire
Responsibilities:
- Prepare shipping documents.
- Receive shipments.
- Stages, loads and unloads shipments.
- Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods in their designated location.
- Update records accurately of products that have been stocked and provide management with an accurate representation of all goods shipped and received.
- Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice to the order and ensure all goods are in excellent condition.
- Deliver goods to customer.
- Operates forklifts and perform daily preventative maintenance on the equipment.
- Monitor and report any missing or lost inventory to management.
- Properly pack items to be shipped according to company standards to ensure they arrive in excellent condition.
- Organize and sort items on racks, shelving, bins and overhangs according to company standards.
- Accurately input data into the company database including all stock and warehouse items.
- Reliably retrieve items from within the warehouse to be processed and shipped.
- Daily use of Microsoft Excel.
- Prepare reports in Microsoft Excel, WORD, PowerPoint, and PDF for customers and management.
- Maintain a safe facility
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability/certified to operate forklift trucks/powered hand trucks or must become forklift certified within 60 days of employment.
- Ability to operate various power tools and powered machines such as stretch wrapper, hand drill, table drill, saw, pallet strapper, etc.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Hazardous materials certification strongly preferred.
- OSHA training/certification preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining an organized warehouse.
- A customer service mindset is valuable for ensuring a positive experience through accurate and high-quality shipping standards.
- Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance.
- Typing and record keeping skills necessary to provide accurate information for managers and supervisors regarding warehouse inventory.
- Able to pass a background investigation.
- Employment subject to potential drug screening.
- Valid driver's license.
- Driving record review.
- Ability to drive 28 ft trucks/cargo vans etc.
- Safety shoes and other protective equipment (PPE) are required (company provided).
