Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans to help patients improve their daily living skills.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility exercises.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and modify care plans.
- Provide patient education on home exercises and adaptive equipment.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
- Utilize medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to deliver quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
- Experience in patient care settings such as inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facilities
- Strong understanding of ADLs, care plans, and occupational health practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.00 - $33.00 per hour
