SummaryUnder the direction of the Director and/or Nurse Manager, the Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) is responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care duties for a group of patients, from simple to complex, for the specialty population on the unit or department, under the guidance and supervision of the registered nurse.EducationHigh school or equivalent (GED). The employee is occasionally exposed to airborne contaminants, chemotherapeutic agents, electrical hazards - shock, moving mechanical parts, non-weather related heat or cold, slippery surfaces, toxic or causticchemicals.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
