POSITION SUMARY: As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing large client relationships within the insurance industry. You will serve as the main contact for clients, providing expert advice on insurance products and services, and ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing customized solutions.
2. New Business Development: assist with qualifying new business opportunities in conjunction with the sales team.
3. Insurance Product Expertise: Stay updated on insurance products, regulations, and industry trends to effectively advise clients on the most suitable insurance solutions.
4. Policy Management: Coordinate policy renewals, endorsements, and claims processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
5. Risk Assessment: Analyze clients' risk exposures and recommend appropriate coverage options to mitigate risks.
6. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate client records, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and manage documentation related to insurance policies.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with underwriting, claims, and finance teams to deliver comprehensive insurance solutions and excellent customer service.
8. Client Education: Educate clients on insurance-related topics, including coverage options, policy features, and risk management strategies.
9. Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators, such as client retention rates, etc.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Insurance, or related field.
· Proven experience in insurance sales, account management, or related roles.
· Strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting principles, and risk management concepts.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.
· Relevant insurance certifications (e.g., CIC, CPCU) are a plus.
