Overview:
Housekeeping staff will report to the Facilities Director and is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and tidy environment campus for Green Mountain Treatment Center.
Knowledge:
- Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods
- Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials
- Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment
Skills:
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
Abilities:
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, making beds, laundry & replenishing linens
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices and policies
- Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend
- Ability to lift, push and pull required load
Other Characteristics:
- Position Monday - Friday but may include Saturdays as needed.
