Overview:
Transportation Specialist for Green Mountain Treatment Center will be responsible for transporting passengers and cargo from one location to another. The ideal candidate for this role should possess good communication skills, excellent time management skills, knowledge of all traffic laws and great customer service. The ability to support and follow the daily transportation schedules, navigate correct and efficient routes, and provide all passengers with a safe and comfortable transportation service. Transportation Specialist are responsible to follow CDC guidelines, wear proper PPE and ensuring all passengers wear proper PPE during all transports.
Knowledge:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid state driver's license
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Great time management skills
- Great customer attitude and attentiveness
- Ability to operate a vehicle for 8 or more hours
- Physically able to lift 50 pounds
Abilities:
- Follow all traffic laws
- Drive defensively to ensure safety
- Monitor fuel gauges to ensure you can reach your destination
- Ensure that vehicle maintenance is completed, documented, and reported to supervisor
- Navigate correct and efficient routes
- Solve and report any passenger complaints or issues
Other Characteristics:
- Keep all windows in the vehicle clean and clear
- Keep the interior of the vehicle clean
- Keep an accurate log of fuel levels, miles for each trip, and other data
