Job Summary :
Granite Rehabilitation and Wellness is currently seeking a Laundry Aide that is responsible for the daily preparation and quality control of linen distributed.
Essential Functions :
- Follows written policies and procedures of the Laundry Department
- Linen sorting, washing, folding
- Observes infection control standards in the handling of linens and clothing.
- Sorts and washes soiled linens.
- Hangs or lays out garments
- Folds, counts, and stacks linen
- Presses or hand irons articles as required.
- Inspects linen for wear and tear.
- Care and use of equipment and supplies, and cleanliness of work area.
- Operates washers and dryers
- Cleans dryer lint traps.
