Fingerprint Technician

Overview:

Granite security is seeking Fingerprint Technicians. Technician's will be responsible for capturing high-quality fingerprint images and ensuring the accuracy of biometric data collection. This position is crucial for various applications including background checks, and security clearances. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Duties

• Capture clear and accurate fingerprint impressions using various techniques and equipment.
• Verify the quality of fingerprints to ensure they meet required standards.
• Maintain accurate records of fingerprint submissions and related documentation.
• Assist clients in understanding the fingerprinting process and address any questions or concerns.
• Follow established protocols for handling sensitive information securely.
• Understand policies and procedures associated with Technician position.
• Stay updated on best practices and advancements in fingerprint technology.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training related to scope of work.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Familiarity with biometric data collection processes and live scan applications or similar is mandatory for the position.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by regulatory standards.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive information.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
