Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technical sales and account management, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing sales strategies. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales process, managing a salesforce of 7 or more, build relationships with clients, and ensuring exceptional customer service while leveraging technology to enhance our sales efforts. Experience in the construction industry would be preferable and highly appreciated with experience in cabinets, countertops or both.
Schedule:
- M-F 8:00-5:00; (40 hours/week) plus one Saturday a month
Compensation:
- $70-90k with a performance bonus that could push the first-year income up to $100-$125k based on performance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management:
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor sales representatives.
- Set sales goals, quotas, and territories for the team.
- Provide coaching and feedback to improve individual and team performance.
- Motivate and inspire the team to achieve sales targets.
- Manage and resolve team conflicts.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback
Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to achieve company goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and make informed decisions.
- Manage the sales pipeline and forecast sales performance.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Budgeting & Reporting:
- Develop and manage the sales budget.
- Track and report on sales performance and key metrics.
- Prepare sales reports and presentations.
Other Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to achieve company goals.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
- May be required to travel to our second location in Alpharetta.
- Work one Saturday a month or sub for those unable to meet their commitment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical sales or technology sales is essential.
- Strong background in account management with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and close deals successfully.
- Experience in business development with a strategic mindset towards market expansion.
- Proficiency in using High Level or similar CRM software for managing customer relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
