The Accounting & Finance Team are responsible for all financials matters regarding the organization. This includes reporting and recording transactions, forecasting future inputs and outputs, medical billing and payment posting, and maintaining financial internal controls.

Job Description
The Medical Biller and Coder is responsible for accurately collecting and posting payments for medical , psychological, speech therapy, and behavioral procedures and services. Working in conjunction with a team, the medical biller and coder will monitor and organize patient medical costs and send invoices to collect payments from patients and their insurers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies
- Ensure that patients' medical and insurance information is accurate and up to date
- Prepare bills and invoices, and document amounts due for services rendered
- Monitor and record payments.
- Knowledge of A / R, claim follow ups, appeals and denial management
- Knowledge of CPT & ICC-108 codes
- Follow up on missed payments and resolve financial discrepancies
- Examine patient bills for accuracy and request any missing information
- Investigate and appeal denied claims
- Help patients develop patient payment plans
- Verify and update patient registration information in the practice management system.
