POSITION: Ground Services Equipment (GSE) Specialist

You will be involved in the overall upkeep of GSE across all Grant Aviation bases. This will include trucks, vans, forklifts and other vehicles on which you will ensure the regular maintenance, upkeep and perform repairs contributing to smooth daily operations at each Station.

We are looking for a motivated, honest, and reliable vehicle/equipment GSE technician who makes safety a priority and has a proven track record of contributing to a safe work environment. This is a full-time, year-round position. This position will be based out of Anchorage, but the candidate will be expected to travel to our eight base locations across Southwest Alaska for up to two weeks at a time and perform a wide variety of duties in support of our base operations and will be a rotational role.

You Ideally Possess

• 5 years' experience in a similar role preferred.
• Current Driver's License (Prefer applicants 25 years of age or older due to insurance requirements)
• Able to pass a DOT background check with no criminal history or disqualifying offenses in the last ten years.
• Comfortable operating various equipment, including forklifts or front-end loaders.
• High degree of attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to meet deadlines proactively.
• Highly flexible, adaptable, and resourceful
• Able to work independently and in a team.
  
  

You will also be expected to schedule and coordinate with specialized vendors and contractors in various locations as needed, as well as remain flexible and detail oriented. You will be expected to take care of and clean tools and equipment and always keep work areas safe and clear. Due to the scope of work that requires working on airport properties, you will need to be able to obtain all required airport badging.
