Grant Company, a creative services group based in Saint Joseph, MO, seeks a full-time videographer/video editor. The videographer/video editor needs to be a creative storyteller who possesses strong communication and technical video editing skills. We are looking for someone with superb camera and cinematography skills.
Potential applicants are best suited for the position if they enjoy long hours – particularly shooting on early mornings and into late evenings. Applicants should also have flexible schedules and be willing to travel on short notice.

Required Skills:
- Knowledge and experience in television/film production and/or broadcasting fields.
- Ability to script, produce, film, edit and complete original TV programming and internet
videos.
- Proficient in shooting, editing and producing creative videos, marketing promos, and
presentations.
- Ability to plan, multitask and prioritize multiple needs simultaneously.
- Experience in graphic design and/or motion graphics and proficiency in Adobe CS (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.) preferred.
- Experience uploading video to web content management tools and dashboards.
- Must be organized, a creative thinker with a strong work ethic.
- Resilient to perform under pressure and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.
- Capable of learning new things and open to taking on new projects.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing effectively and to foster positive business relationships with clients and team members.
- Evaluates trends and develops new ways to incorporate emerging and new media formats into campaigns.
- Experience in digital ad development or graphic design are appreciated but not required.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, film studies, fine arts or the equivalent.
- 4 years of professional experience.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record.
- Must be able to travel on average 5-10 days per month, although travel requirements will vary seasonally. Much of the work will be conducted on farms and ranches and potentially requires some strenuous physical activities.
- Knowledge of agriculture preferred.
