Supports Individualized Instruction and Support PlansSupports clients with positive integration into their community.Interacts positively with the client’s family, advocates, guardians, case managers, employers, friends, and others.Promotes learning and growth with clients.Supports positive recognition of clients by themselves and with others.Actively participates in training and other meetings, whether in or out of office, as requested.

Working ConditionsWork is primarily performed inside but can be performed in varying temperatures. Employee may be exposed to office supply odors or vapors. Employee may also be exposed to sub-sanitary environments.Physical RequirementsThe physical abilities described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, write, hear, speak, and lift up to 50 lbs. of unequal weight. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision, peripheral, and depth perception. - This position is comprised of multiple shifts. Scheduled hours/days may vary depending on the needs of the hiring manager. The Community Living Support Aide provides direct support and assistance to clients receiving Supported Living services following the guidelines set forth in Individualized Instruction and Support Plans, which contributes to the well-being of citizens of Grant County with developmental disabilities and/or mental health needs. This position supports the Agency mission, vision, value statements, and the goals of the Agency.Directions In Community Living is a certified supported living agency, that provides support to individuals with developmental disabilities, and chronic mental illness. This position will be required to work various hours and days of the week
