Grant, Genovese & Baratta, LLP is a dynamic and forward-thinking law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to our clients. We are currently seeking a Senior Real Estate Paralegal with 9 years of solid experience to join our Real Estate Transactions team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with commercial real estate transactions, acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing
- Conduct title and survey reviews, analyze title commitments, and coordinate resolution of title issues
- Prepare and review loan documentation, financing agreements, and closing documents
- Handle due diligence, including ordering and reviewing entity, lien, and UCC searches
- Coordinate and manage transaction closings, including preparing closing checklists, closing statements, and post-closing documentation
- Draft lease agreements, amendments, SNDAs, and estoppels
- Assist with real estate development matters, including reviewing entitlements, easements, and zoning reports
- Research real property records and compliance matters using public records and informational databases
Qualifications:
- ABA Approved Paralegal Certificate
- Extensive experience in commercial real estate transactions, title and survey matters, and financing transactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Westlaw, Clio, and online legal databases
- Strong understanding of real estate documentation, title insurance, and due diligence processes
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Notary Public certification is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
