Job Title: Automotive Technician
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Grant Medical Transportation, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
- Conduct routine maintenance work, including replacing fluids and lubricating parts, to ensure vehicle functionality and longevity
- Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues, such as leaks
- Provide accurate estimates for repair or maintenance jobs
- Keep logs on work and issues
- Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
- Perform light building maintenance as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an auto mechanic, with a preference for working on FORD vehicles
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
- Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment
- Willingness to observe all safety precautions
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship preferred
- Valid certification, such as ASE, is a plus

- Can work during odd hours and for extended periods, sometimes outdoors and in adverse weather conditions
- Able to work with much standing, bending, and kneeling
