What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Grant Memorial Hospital, Inc.?
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. High school diploma or equivalent OR completion of GED within six (6) months of hire.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. They are not intended to be constructed as an all-inclusive list of all responsibilities and duties. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Dry mopping and wet mopping floors.
2. Collecting Trash.
3. Disinfecting beds after patient discharge.
4. Completely Housecleaning of rooms (scrub walls, strip floors by using scrubber and rewax the floors).
7. Collecting the bio-hazards waste and putting in the bio-hazard building.
8. Disinfecting the bathrooms.
9. Vacuuming carpets and rugs.
10. Burnishing the floors.
11. Replace curtains when needed.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Must be able to follow direction as given.

3. Must be able to run an industrial scrubber and burnisher.
4. Knowledge of infection control procedures.
